Privacy Policy
The short version: Pop does not collect your personal data. The app runs entirely on your device, has no accounts and no servers, and sends nothing back to us.
01The Pop app
- No account. There is no sign-up, no login, and no profile.
- Everything stays on your device. Your POP balance, the calls you make, your market history and the in-app activity that powers screens like Your Edge are written to your device's local app storage.
- Nothing is transmitted. The app makes no network requests to us. It contains no analytics, advertising, or tracking software.
- Deleting the app deletes the data. Removing Pop from your device removes everything it stored. We keep no copy, because we never received one.
02This website
The waitlist form on the home page saves the address you type into your own browser's local storage, so the page can recognise you if you come back. It is not sent to us and not sent to anyone else — no server ever receives it. You can remove it at any time by clearing site data for this site in your browser settings.
03Services this site relies on
This page is plain HTML, but two third parties are involved in delivering it:
- Google Fonts. The Sora and Space Mono typefaces are loaded from Google. Your browser requests those files directly from Google, which receives your IP address as part of that request.
- Vercel. The site is hosted on Vercel, which — like any web host — processes standard request information such as IP address and browser user agent in order to serve the page.
We do not receive personal information from either of them.
04Children
Pop is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, and we do not collect personal information from anyone else either.
05Changes to this policy
If any of the above changes — in particular if a future version of Pop adds accounts or server-side features — this page will be updated before that version ships.
